Presented by Nancy O'Brien-Abel, MN, RNC
Date: Thursday, June 29, 2023
Location: Virtual Presentation, Microsoft Teams
Course Description
This one-day course prepares nurses, midwives, and physicians for the National Certification Corporation's (NCC's) Electronic Fetal Monitoring Subspecialty Certification Exam. See www.nccwebsite.org for core competencies and certification exam registration. Review the 2023 Candidate Guide for Electronic Fetal Monitoring and 2023 Examination Registration Catalog for EFM Subspecialty Exam for more information.
Approximately 1-2 weeks before the class, register with NCC and pay their testing fee. Now that NCC registration is online and the eligibility letter is by email, the process of assigning a testing window usually only takes days. Your testing window will be a 90-day period beginning once NCC processes your registration (the beginning date may be as early as the day you register). Once you receive your eligibility letter, you may schedule your own exam appointment within the testing window dates at a local testing center for the computer exam. Your instructor recommends testing immediately after the review course for optimum success.
